We had some fun at round 3 AMAC held in Sydney, this was in preparation for the upcoming 4th IFK World Kata Championships to be held in Belgium March 2014.
Whilst it wasn’t a tournament run along IFK Kata rules it gave us competition pressure and experience.
We had Team Jenny, Team Shah and Team Marcel, which finished 4th, 3rd and 1st respectively. Then in the individual Advanced / Black Belt division Sensei Shah came 3rd and I came 2nd. Then in the veterans (over 35years) I came 2nd. It was good fun getting up, but I must admit I really like the team kata, very challenging. OSU!
