Other Kyokushin Karate Groups the International Federations of Karate Kyokushinkai Australia (IFKKA) has passed a mandate that where possible we (their dojo) support other Kyokushin Karate organisations events in Australia. This is in part a result of our parent organisations the International Federation of Karate (IFK) being part of a global group called Kyokushin World Union (KWU) which is actively trying to reunite the Kyokushin factions globally and working to have Kyokushin Karate recognised as an Olympic sport in conjunction with Shinkyokushin. Phew did you get all of that!! Sometimes it does get confusing. As a result of this the IFKKA invites other Kyokushin Karate Groups to our Kumite events and we in turn are invited to their events, so where possible we try to support different groups. |

Oyama Championships Sunday 8th November once again we have been invited by Sensei Alicia Smith from Young Tigers Dojo Narellan to join them at their annual tournament. It was a great event last year well run, but venue just a bit small. This year it will be bigger and has moved to a new venue to accommodate the number of entries anticipated. Click here to download an entry form. FYI Sensei Alicia and her crew assisted with the development of a couple of our students for the recent IFK World Junior Championships, so let’s support her event! |
