From Wednesday 27th April until Sunday 1st May I attended the 3rd IFK Kyokushin Karate Black belt camp at Arnhem The Netherlands, what an experience to train with 175 black belts from around the world for nearly 5 days, Awesome! It was an honour to train with some of the top IFK Kyokushin Black Belts, an opportunity to meet Karateka from around the world make new friends and renew old friendships.

We held our first grading for the year on Monday 4th April with 18 students grading, it is great to watch the students go through their paces, some were a little nervous, but all performed well on the day.

Next Junior grading (up to and including 5th Kyu) at KKC will be on Monday 1st August, the next IFKKA Senior grading (for those attempting grades of 4th kyu and higher) will be on Sunday 4th September. Congratulation to Kris Parekh for achieving his 2nd Kyu (Brown Belt) at the recent IFKKA Senior Grading held on Sunday 6th March. Great effort, OSU!
