The 11th IFKKA Australian Open Championships Sunday 19th May, What a great day we had, check the results on the KKC Karate news page and the photos in the web gallery click here. Once again thank you to all who helped in the running of the event; from lending vehicles and helping with the transport of the mats to setting up, judging/refereeing, being a table official and the pack up etc. Thank you very much! It is greatly appreciated by the competitors and the IFKKA Committee. |

Kinder Karate Club just a reminder that last class for term 2 will be on Saturday 22nd June. Term 3 Kinder Karate Club classes will commence on Saturday 20th July. Click here to send email confirming your booking for term 3 by Friday 12th July. |

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS – Kids Karate Club & Kyokushin Karate Club will run through the school holidays to a modified class schedule starting from Saturday 29th June until Saturday 13th July I will be combining the 4.30pm class with the 5.45pm classes and the following times apply: Transition of junior student’s to adult class: To assist in this transition, during the school holidays junior students 11 & 12 years of age are encouraged to attend the Kyokushin Karate Club for Adults & Teenagers classes, in place of or in addition to their scheduled classes. Once the juniors are 12 years of age they may attend these classes at anytime at no extra cost, provided they can keep up. Kyokushin Karate Club for Adults & Teenagers classes run 7pm to 9pm on Monday & Thursday; if you may only wish to train for the first hour up to 8pm that is fine, just let me know at the beginning of class. |

Drummoyne Public School Fete We have once again been asked to perform a karate demonstration at the Drummoyne Public School Fete to be held on Sunday 25th August. All students are welcome to participate from Kinder, Kids and Kyokushin (adults) Karate clubs. Make sure you mark Sunday 25th August in your diary. Please let me know your availability as I need to plan the event. |

IFKKA Interclub Tournament Round 3 Sunday 30th June this is our first ever Kata Individual and Teams only event so don’t miss out. Be sure to get your entries in NOW as I need to form the teams. Click here to download your entry form. |

4th World IFK Kata Championships March 2014 preparation & selections commenced recently for our Australian team to attend the 4th World IFK Kata Championships to be held in Belgium on the 15th March 2014. But we need your help to raise funds to assist the team members. If you can assist us with raising funds or can help us in any way eg with a donation &/or sponsorship, all help is welcome, please give me a call. |
