Osu Karateka and Families, Well it is that time again school holidays are nearly upon us. We have had a great month so far with fabulous results at the 13th Annual IFKKA Championships Sunday 18th September. Thank you to those who supported the event as it was a great day. Also thank you to the KKC Karate students, families and friends who helped in the running of the day, from set up to pack up, helping on the rings and generally being available. Your assistance was gratefully appreciated. OSU! |

IFKKA Christmas Party Saturday 26th November late afternoon / early evening, be sure to put this date in your diary more details to follow soon. It will be more of an old fashioned picnic type of event. |

Drummoyne Public School Fete; Oops! I forgot to put this in our last newsletter, sorry. Thank you to those who came and participated in the karate demonstration at the fete. 13th Annual IFKKA Championships Sunday 18th September, results; Awesome! It was a great day, even though entry numbers were down on last year, there was still loads of exciting sparring. September / October School holidays; will start at the end of this week, after Saturday 24th September classes all Kids Karate Club (6 to 12yrs) classes will suspend from Monday 26th September to Sunday 9th October your Ezi Debit payments have been adjusted accordingly.Kyokushin Karate Club (Adults & Teenagers) will continue to operate during the school holidays. Except for Labour Day Public Holiday Monday 3rd October, KKC Karate does not operate on public holidaysSaturday’s Fitness & Fighting Class continues to operate at its usual time during the school holidays 11.30am to 1.30pm.Transition of junior student’s to adult class: To help with this transition, during the school holidays students 11 & 12 years are encouraged to attend the Teenager / Adult classes – Monday & Thursday 7 to 9pm. Once students turn 12 years they may attend the teenager / adults classes at anytime, please discuss with me at the dojo if you are interested. From 13 years of age the teenager / adult tuition fee structure will apply.

Kinder Karate Club; Last class for term 3 was held on Saturday 17th September. At this class all of the Kinder students who participated in the class received their red tips, well done to you all. Click here to view some kinder photos from earlier in the term. Kinder classes for term 4 will resume on Saturday 15th October 9.15 to 9.45am, be sure to book your place now for term 4. Fees of $175 will be due by Friday 7th October, to confirm your booking. |

KKC Karate Fight Night; The next fight night will be on Tuesday 11th October 7 to 8pm, come early so you can warm up and be ready to go. Who can attend fight night? The class is open to student’s aged 9 years and older, or 8th kyu and higher, or by invitation. If you are unsure who can attend talk to me at the dojo. As this is an extra class over and above the class schedule it will cost $10 per session paid on the night, however for Students 2nd kyu and higher there will be no charge to attend this class. Listed are the dates for the rest of 2016, any changes I will let you know.

2017 IFKKA Summer Camp dates confirmed for 27th, 28th and 29th January 2017, be sure to put this in your diary as Shihan David Pickthall from the UK will be attending. DON’T MISS THIS EVENT, or you can just means we will have Shihan David to ourselves! |
