Osu Karateka and Families, Well it is hard to believe that we are now in winter, where did summer go, and the year up till now? Time just seems to fly by, we have our kata tournament coming up on Sunday 26th August, so be sure to put this date in your diary as everyone can enter this event, so start practising. |

Grading Results Junior Saturday 16th June KKC karate students who participated in the junior grading displayed a high standard. Moving the grading back to Saturday afternoon has proven to be a winner, especially for the younger students. Congratulations to all who participated, keep up the good work. Click here for full results and photos. Next junior grading will be held on Saturday 15th September, if you want to grade start preparing now! Do not wait till just before the grading, Be sure to talk to me at the dojo, so we can ensure you are ready for your next grading. |

Kinder Karate Club the last class for term 2 was on Saturday 30th June, we are now on break over the school holidays. The kinder students have worked really hard this term and are doing very well in their karate development. Kinder classes for term 3 will resume on Saturday 4th August – 9am to 9.30am, please confirm your place for term 3 and fees are due by Friday 27thJuly.

IFK Australia – Sunday 24th June 2018- Inaugural Junior Padded Full Contact Kumite, what a great day, we were treated some fabulous displays of sparring by the junior students, be sure to check out more information and photos click here.

July School holidays are here again and the Kinder and Kids Karate Club classes will take a break. Last Kids Karate Club Classes will be held on Saturday 7th July and will resume on Monday 23rd July. Kinder Karate Club will resume on Saturday 4th August. Kyokushin Karate Club for Teenagers and Adults will continue during the school holidays. The Saturday fitness and fighting class will also be taking a break and will not operate on Saturday 14th July and Saturday 21st July. For junior students who are 11 years and older I encourage you to attend the adult classes during the school holidays. This way you can improve on your techniques and experience through working with the older students. If you are not sure please give me a call to discuss this.
