Osu Karateka and Families,

Well the year started off well; we have had the IFKKA Camp in January, the first IFKKA tournament for 2018, junior grading, senior grading and Easter! With school holidays just around the corner.

Where has the year gone? But to be fair we have accomplished a lot as you will read below.

Grading Results Junior Saturday 17th March KKC Karate students who participated in the junior grading displayed a high standard. Moving the grading back to Saturday afternoon has proven to be a winner especially for the younger students. Congratulations to all who participated, keep up the good work. Click here for full results and photos.

Next junior grading will be held on Saturday 16th June, if you want to grade start preparing now! Do not wait till just before the grading. Students be sure to talk to me at the dojo, so we can ensure you are ready for your next grading.

IFKKA Senior grading resultsBe sure to congratulate Anthony Zamattia (3rd Kyu) and Scott Harris (4th Kyu) pictured right, on successfully passing the grading examination at the recent senior grading held at Kuro Obi on Sunday 8th April.

Congratulations and well done to you both, Osu!

Next IFKKA senior grading (for grades 4th Kyu and higher) will be held on Sunday 9th September. If you are intending to grade please talk to me at the dojo to see if your preparation is on track.
