The IFKKA held its first Individual Full Contact (only) tournament last Sunday 1st June, this was a first in many ways as we have introduced contact to juniors aged 11years and older and we had Sensei Alicia Smith and Senpai Robert Smith (Young Tigers Kyokushin) from Kyokushin World Federation, Sensei Graeme Rose (Central Coast Kyokushin) from Kyokushin Union and Sensei Yasu Yahiro from Shinkyokushin in attendance with their students. Four Kyokushin groups under one roof competing in the spirit of OSU! Thank you.
KKC Karate had six students entered who all performed really well, resulting in 3 first places and 3 second places, all of these guys have been working hard in their training at the Saturday circuit and fighting sessions and you could tell it paid off.
